I have always been the type of person to seek things that make me happy.
I’m a big dreamer and want to create a life for myself that I truly enjoy. No regrets you know? I want to be that person that always does the scary thing, takes risks, laughs often, seeks adventure, and becomes successful.
I don’t want to fall into the trap of doing things just because our society says that’s just what you are ¨supposed¨ to do at this stage of your life. The American Dream is to go to get your education, get a good job, get married, have kids, and live in a white picket house right?
Well, I’m the kind of person that thinks the American Dream should simply be living life in a way that makes you the most happy.
Despite wanting to live this great happy and ambitious life, I think it’s easy to get sucked into the day to day realities of life. It is easy to forget and lose sight of what we want.
So that’s why I made this list of things that I know make me happy, but sometimes I need a push or reminder. I’m sure there are at least of handful of healthy habits to start below that would make you happier too.
